LIBERTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Pulaski County, Missouri
Latest Update: January 23rd, 2026
Wright Construction Services is proud to partner with the Waynesville R-VI School District on the development of the new Liberty Elementary School—an innovative and future-ready learning environment set to serve students from Pre-K through 5th grade.
This 97,000-square-foot, ground-up construction project is taking shape on a 26.2-acre site in Waynesville, Missouri. Designed by incite Design Studio, LLC, Liberty Elementary is being built with sustainability, safety, and student collaboration in mind.
Key Features:
- Enhanced Safety: A precast concrete storm shelter is incorporated into the design to ensure student and staff safety during severe weather events.
- Student Wellness and Recreation: Two playgrounds and a gymnasium with a full-size basketball court will support physical education and play.
- Collaborative Learning Environment: All classrooms feature overhead garage-style doors that open into flexible shared learning spaces—encouraging teamwork, creativity, and cross-class collaboration.
Current Progress
As of January 2026, construction continues to move forward with strong momentum across the site. Structural steel and decking operations are ongoing, marking a major step in vertical progress. The precast storm shelter has been successfully erected, enhancing the building’s safety infrastructure early in the process.
The team is preparing to schedule the first slab-on-grade pour, while underground work continues steadily throughout the site to support upcoming phases of construction.
Wright Construction is proud to be part of this important project and looks forward to sharing additional updates as Liberty Elementary continues to take shape.
Partnership & Vision
This project reflects Wright Construction’s ongoing collaboration with the Waynesville School District to deliver safe, modern, and energy-efficient educational spaces. Once complete, Liberty Elementary will stand as a model for sustainable, student-focused design in Missouri.
