2025 Intern Program
ROBERT
Currently studying at St. Charles Community College, Robert first toured Wright Construction three years ago and has been interested in getting more involved ever since.
Now 19, Robert is gaining hands-on experience in the field. He enjoys watching a project develop from the ground up and the ability to apply what he learns at work in every day life.
So far, one of his most memorable moments has been learning to maneuver with a trailer hitch through test scenarios. And while he likes being on-site, he also has not minded spending some time in our air conditioned warehouse organizing materials on recent hotter days!
We’re glad Robert is a part of the team this summer. As for what’s next? “Definitely construction.”

ELLIOT
Elliot appreciated learning all parts of the field this summer – from estimating to project management.
The biggest lesson she learned? “It really does all tie together”.
She also valued the chance to observe how Wright works with subcontractors and clients, and how important it is to have a full-picture understanding of the industry—especially as a woman in construction. Elliot is inspired by the many women at Wright who lead by example.
When we asked if she’d recommend the experience, she didn’t hesitate: “100% yes.”
