Project Overview

Wright Construction Services continues to advance construction on the Wentzville School District REACH & Early Childhood Center, a facility designed to expand educational opportunities for early learners and specialized programs within the district.

The center combines academic, recreational, and support spaces into one connected campus — featuring collaborative classrooms, a full-size gymnasium, outdoor play areas, and flexible learning zones. Designed with student safety and accessibility in mind, the building will serve as a modern, inclusive space for the district’s youngest learners.

Recent Progress

As of October 2025, interior and exterior construction is progressing rapidly:

  • Base Bid North and South areas are now in the finishes phase.

  • Gym floors are being poured this week.

  • Ceiling tiles and permanent lighting are being installed.

  • Exterior landscaping is underway, with vegetation and plantings adding the final touches.

  • Alternate bid areas are following closely behind, with finishes advancing in sequence.

These activities follow major milestones earlier this fall, including casework, flooring, and ceiling installations, as well as mechanical and electrical system activation.

Site Work & Exterior

Crews have completed final grading, concrete sidewalks, and perimeter fencing, while site lighting and drainage basins continue to progress. Exterior work is now shifting toward landscape completion and site restoration as the building approaches turnover.

Looking Ahead

With interior finishes nearing completion, Wright Construction will begin punch-list and closeout activities in the coming months. The project remains on schedule, reflecting strong collaboration between the district, design team, and subcontractors.
