LIBERTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Pulaski County, Missouri
Latest Update: July 7, 2025
Wright Construction Services is proud to partner with the Waynesville R-VI School District on the development of the new Liberty Elementary School—an innovative and future-ready learning environment set to serve students from Pre-K through 5th grade.
This 97,000-square-foot, ground-up construction project is taking shape on a 26.2-acre site in Waynesville, Missouri. Designed by incite Design Studio, LLC, Liberty Elementary is being built with sustainability, safety, and student collaboration in mind.
Key Features:
- Net Zero Energy Design: The school will include a dedicated solar field, positioning it as one of the first Net Zero campuses in the region.
- Enhanced Safety: A precast concrete storm shelter is incorporated into the design to ensure student and staff safety during severe weather events.
- Student Wellness and Recreation: Two playgrounds and a gymnasium with a full-size basketball court will support physical education and play.
- Collaborative Learning Environment: All classrooms feature overhead garage-style doors that open into flexible shared learning spaces—encouraging teamwork, creativity, and cross-class collaboration.
Although mobilization is scheduled for late July, early sitework is underway through Bloomsdale Excavating as part of Bid Package #1. Their team is focused on preparing the building pad to ensure a smooth project kickoff.
Once fully mobilized, Wright Construction will lead construction on a modern, student-centered facility that prioritizes safety, functionality, and long-term value. Renderings and project visuals will be added as development progresses.
